DOUGLAS REP 5091
- Dan Abelson
Polite, thoughtful, purposeful, Schizophrenic. Douglas is a representative for the masked “Agency” that is in the business of collecting souls for the Devil. He’s been in his job a long time so has become very good at his bed side manor, as it were, and is doing his best to shake the typical, sinister, approach that “the agency” has had in the past. He is very courteous to his clients, overly so in some circumstances as he tries to hide his impatience and annoyance. We’re never quite sure what Douglas is thinking as one second he can be smiling, wistfully at someone, and the other staring coldly right through them.
As a “REP” he is transported from client to client as and when he’s called. After his session is finished he is allowed to linger in that particular area until his next call comes in. This leaves very little time for a social life, although he did get to spend two days in Southend on sea once which he sees as somewhat a low point of his life.
- Robin Holden
Successful, overworked Data analyst and jaded bachelor. His life is consumed by his work and while most men at his age and in his position have family and children, he has kitchen gadgets and designer dressing gowns. He thought all he wanted was the high-flying bachelor life, but has been left in his mid 30’s as a wealthy loner. Although a nice enough man he’s never never met the right woman…he’s never met any woman. He’s friendly and generous but spends too much time behind his desk to form any sort of relationship with anyone. After too many years working 60 hour weeks for someone else he wants his own freedom to live his life, but without the financial instability. When discussing his woe’s with a friend one evening he is recommended to call an “un-orthdox” agency that may be able to help.
